I’m a passionate and people-centred Occupational Therapist with over 17 years of experience supporting individuals through complex medical, physical, and psychosocial challenges. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy with Distinction from Curtin University (2006), and throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a deep commitment to helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

My journey has taken me across a wide range of sectors, including Defence, DVA, WA Police, and the Australian Federal Police. Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Veterans and ADF members—guiding them through return-to-service plans, medical discharge, and transitions to civilian life. Since 2021, I’ve been supporting WA Police officers facing both physical and psychological injuries, offering tailored strategies that respect their unique circumstances and strengths.

I take a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to care, combining clinical expertise with empathy to identify barriers, set meaningful goals, and support long-term recovery. I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and families to ensure clients feel supported from every angle—whether they’re navigating trauma, chronic pain, cognitive impairments, or social isolation.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work has been helping high-needs clients, including those with brain injuries and quadriplegia, and working with their families to create sustainable, practical care plans. I’ve also supported individuals with PTSD to reengage with their communities through sensitive, step-by-step desensitisation strategies.

My work in aged care has deepened my understanding of the social factors impacting wellbeing, including elder abuse and isolation. In all settings, I remain focused on early intervention, compassionate advocacy, and empowering clients to regain control of their lives.

In 2014, I was honoured with the ARPA WA Excellence in Workplace Rehabilitation Award for Outstanding Return to Work—an acknowledgment of the care and dedication I bring to every client journey.
