Danielle Hardy

Occupational Therapist
Injury Management Specialist (Karratha)

I am a dedicated and empathetic Occupational Therapist with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals through physical, psychological, and vocational recovery. With a background in Exercise Science and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, my passion lies in helping people rebuild their confidence, independence, and connection to work and community.

I have worked across a wide range of sectors, Veterans, Australian Defence Force, Australian Federal Police, WA Police, St John Ambulance, and multiple insurance and compensation schemes such as Comcare, WorkCover WA, and income protection. My role involves full-spectrum case management, from initial assessments and biopsychosocial screenings to the development and implementation of tailored rehabilitation plans.

Much of my work focuses on complex cases involving trauma, chronic pain, mental health conditions, and psychosocial stressors. I provide functional and workplace assessments, ADL and home assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure each person receives care that meets their unique needs. I’m especially skilled at navigating challenges such as PTSD, substance use, family breakdown, social withdrawal, and housing insecurity.

Building trust is central to my practice—particularly when working with Defence and emergency service personnel. I understand the high-pressure environments they come from and the importance of delivering compassionate, structured support. I work closely with case managers, treating teams, and families to ensure treatment is proactive, coordinated, and focused on long-term wellbeing.

Whether facilitating a return to work, coordinating crisis support, or developing vocational goals, I aim to empower each client to move forward with confidence. I believe that with the right guidance and support network, even the most complex challenges can be transformed into opportunities for growth and recovery.

My work is driven by purpose, grounded in empathy, and inspired by the resilience of the people I support.
