I am a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse with over 20 years in acute clinical care, injury management, and rehabilitation. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through recovery, combining my clinical expertise with a holistic, person-centred approach.
My background spans private hospitals, private practices, and occupational rehabilitation settings, where I have worked closely with allied health professionals, medical specialists, employers, and key stakeholders. I have a strong track record in managing both acute and chronic injuries, post-surgical care, and complex conditions. I bring a collaborative and empathetic approach to every case, ensuring that physical, psychological, social, and emotional aspects of recovery are addressed in a meaningful way.
I have extensive experience conducting initial assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and workplace assessments, integrating these into tailored rehabilitation plans that align with the goals and needs of all stakeholders. My additional qualification in Training and Assessment has further enhanced my ability to identify barriers, deliver education, and implement practical solutions that support sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
I have supported injured workers across various specialised services, including the WA Police Force, Fire and Emergency Services, St John Ambulance, the Australian Defence Force, and the Department of Justice. I understand the unique pressures faced by first responders and defence personnel, and I tailor my approach with sensitivity and care.
My experience also includes supporting clients with complex medical and psychosocial needs, such as chronic and psychosomatic pain, CRPS, amputation, and trauma-related mental health conditions. I am adept at identifying the psychological impacts of injury and illness and ensuring clients are connected with the proper supports to promote long-term wellbeing and recovery.
