Jason Burchill

Physiotherapist
Injury Management Specialist

I’m a dedicated and compassionate case manager with a strong foundation in health and rehabilitation. My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sports Science, a Master’s in Clinical Physiotherapy, a Master’s in Exercise Science & Rehabilitation, and I’m currently completing a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy. This blend of clinical knowledge and real-world experience allows me to support clients holistically—physically, emotionally, and socially.

With over 5 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with individuals facing complex challenges through WorkCover WA, the WA Police Force, and Catholic Education. I’m experienced in all aspects of case management, from initial assessments and biopsychosocial screening to rehabilitation planning, SMART goal development, workplace assessments, and ongoing support. I take pride in building strong, trusting relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring every step of the recovery journey feels supported and achievable.

Working with first responders has been especially meaningful to me. I understand the unique pressures faced by WA Police and DVA clients and approach each case with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and clinical expertise. I’ve helped clients navigate PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, family strain, chronic pain, and more, always with a focus on empowering them to regain independence and well-being.

I believe that true recovery happens when people feel heard, understood, and supported. That’s why I stay closely involved throughout the process—communicating regularly, coordinating care with experienced clinicians, and ensuring each client has a tailored, realistic plan that reflects their goals and values.

Above all, I’m passionate about helping people rediscover their strength, build resilience, and feel confident about their future. My approach is warm, person-centred, and grounded in both evidence and heart.
